In this article, we will guide you on how to configure your custom mailbox onto Outlook 2016.
It is important to note the following:
- This tutorial will be guiding you through an IMAP configuration.

The steps are as follows:
1. Open your Outlook Application
2. Select "File" in the top left-hand corner of your Outlook
3. Click on "Add Account"
4. Enter your email address
- Under "Advanced options" select "Let me set up my account manually"
- Now select "connect"
5. Choose account type as "IMAP"
6. Enter your mailbox password
7. A new screen will appear called "IMAP Account settings" replicate the below settings:
Incoming mail
- Server: mail.yourdomainhere.africa
- Port: 993
- Encryption method: SSL/TLS
- Username: Full Email Address
Outgoing mail server
- Server: mail.yourdomainhere.africa
- Port: 465
- Encryption method: SSL/TLS
- Username: Full Email Address
Lastly, select "Next"
8. Your account has been added successfully
- Select "Done" to complete
